Common Doubts

How long does each session last?

Individual psychotherapy sessions typically last for 50 minutes. This consistent timeframe provides a reliable structure, allowing us to delve into your experiences while ensuring a safe and regular conclusion to our work each week.

How often will we meet?

The foundation of effective therapy is regularity. I usually recommend meeting once a week to maintain therapeutic momentum and foster a sustained connection, though we will always assess and adapt to your specific needs.

How does the online modality work?

Our sessions take place through a secure, confidential video platform. All you need is a private space and a stable connection. This modality offers clinical efficacy identical to in-person therapy while providing the accessibility of your own environment.

How do I book a session?

Simply fill out the contact form and I will get in touch with you personally. From there, we can arrange an initial conversation and discuss the frequency and format that best suits your needs and goals.

Do you work with health insurance providers?

At the moment, I work exclusively through private practice and do not accept insurance plans directly. I offer a fixed fee per session, and I also reserve a limited number of sliding-scale spaces for individuals facing financial difficulties. We can discuss the most suitable arrangement during our initial contact.

What is your cancellation policy and how are sessions paid for?

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less notice are charged the full session fee, as it is often difficult to offer the reserved time to someone else who may need it. Payments can be made via Spanish bank transfer or through an invoicing system via It's Complicated, depending on your location and preference.
